2012 Olympics


Objective

To supply a team of 120 staff and 6 restaurant managers to look after hospitality guests in the exclusive Prestige Ticketing Areas at Wimbledon and the North Greenwich Arena (O2 London).  Olympic sports covered included gymnastics, Trampolining, Basketball and Tennis.


Delivery

Working to strict LOCOG guidelines Aesthetics were awarded the contract to supply hospitality hosts and hostesses in August 2011.  Over 300 staff were recruited and security cleared ready for the January 2012 security cut off date.  All staff were trained to  ‘World Class’ hospitality standard and certified by the client prior to the event commencing.  Languages included Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, Dutch, French, Mandarin and Sign Language to name but a few.  First Aid trained staff were also supplied.


Due to ticket sales the staffing numbers and shift patterns varied day by day and Aesthetics managed the entire process from staff check-in to staff departure.  Uniforms were also allocated by the Aesthetics representative onsite at each venue.


In addition to this contract staff were also supplied at other Olympic venues across the UK for other clients.
