Objective
The Oakley Riot Pro Wakeboarding event took place this year at the famous Nasimi Beach at the Atlantis Hotel, Dubai on the 19th November 2010. Emma Jones, Water Sports Brand Manager at Al Boom Marine helped organize the event and requested the support of 2 bikini clad hostesses from Aesthetics.
Delivery
The 2 hostesses supplied were Mia and Natalie who have both previously worked for Aesthetics UK and are now based in Dubai enjoying duties in the warmer part of the world.
The girls were supplied with Oakley branded bikini’s sunglasses and flip flops to add glamour to the adrenaline-fuelled, double-up wakeboarding contest.
The official line-up featured familiar faces and new-comers alike, including Oakley’s young and rising ripper Harley Clifford, Shane Bonifay, Rusty Malinoski, JD Webb, Shawn Watson, Parks Bonifay, Bob Soven, Nick Davies, Andrew Adkison and Philip Soven.
The event kicked off with an amateur contest in the morning where up and comers showcased their skills. JD Webb won the $22,000 cash prize and bragging rights. Immediately following the event, Nasimi Beach hosted a rocking beach party from 6 pm until the wee morning hours.
